Leadership and Environmental Innovation
Heaven Belihu Tsenbelo is the driving force behind Green Clean Africa. As the founder and CEO, she leads the organization’s efforts to transform waste management practices across Ethiopia. Through her company, Clean Addis Recycling PLC, she has introduced innovative dry waste solutions and created sustainable employment opportunities for marginalized communities.
Heaven also advocates for environmental awareness and youth empowerment as the host of “Heaven’s Time” on Nahoo TV and spearheads conversations on sustainability through her soon-to-launch Pan-African TV Station. Her academic credentials include an MBA in Media and a Bachelor’s in Management, complemented by her experience in media and communication.

Lawalley has held influential roles, including Chief of Education at UNICEF, and his work spans The Gambia, Mali, Zambia, and Burundi. His initiatives in education for climate adaptation and his extensive field experience make him an invaluable part of GCA’s team.

With an MSc in Environmental Science, Mr. Meseret Abdissa specializes in air pollution monitoring and control. As a Senior Expert at the Ethiopian Environmental Protection Authority, he plays a vital role in shaping policies that combat pollution and improve air quality.
Meseret is also a Member of Parliament and serves on the Pastoralists Affairs Standing Committee, contributing to policymaking that addresses environmental and social challenges. His dedication to reducing environmental hazards and promoting cleaner air complements GCA’s goals.
